EMS Online

EMS Online (formerly 911 Marriage) is a life-changing 13-week course that heals the breech created by infidelity and provides pathways for a new beginning. Designed for both the hurt and unfaithful spouses, this faith-based course combines a structured workbook and DVD curriculum with the support of a trained group leader and an anonymous group of 3-4 other couples. The group communicates via a weekly telephone conference call as well as an online forum that is accessible 24/7. You’ll quickly discover that your small group provides a safe environment that offers incredible strength, insight and collaboration on the path to recovery.

Healing Progress, Week-By-Week

Each week for 13 weeks, you’ll start by reading the workbook chapter and watching the DVD track(s). As you read your chapter, you will complete homework exercises, many of which you will share in some form or fashion during your group call. You can plan to devote around 3-4 hours per week.

EMS Online will help to:

• Restore stability to the relationship
• Create an objective framework for communicating with one another
• Establish a shared understanding of what has happened
• Increase empathy for the hurt spouse so healing can occur
• Heal the breach created by the infidelity
• Address the issues of forgiveness, grief and managing anger
• Rebuild trust or identify the conditions necessary to prepare a foundation for rebuilding trust
• Explore issues created in your physical relationships as a result of the infidelity
• Set reasonable expectations in your marriage
• Find a path for moving beyond the affair
• Develop relapse prevention strategies
