I understand that rebuilding trust and safety are key components to rebuilding intimacy after infidelity. Those aside, I was wondering if there are any exercises or practices that my spouse and I could do, to gently introduce back sexual intimacy after his betrayal. What could we do to help me work towards feeling more comfortable with his physical touch and to slowly build back physical intimacy? Would it be things like massage or cuddling? From a sex therapy perspective, what things can we do to re-establish the physical side of our relationship as safe and welcoming for me after infidelity?
