Question:

Is there any hope for recovery if my unfaithful mate will not see the affair as an addiction, even though our recovery materials show that he has so many of the same characteristics? There are little glimpses of thinking he is having some clarity but then poof it’s gone. We are trending on progress but until he truly sees it and works on himself I just don’t see how to work on healing the marriage. I fear yet another relapse and that makes me feel unsafe. I am not sure we will survive another lie. We listened to Rick’s and Stephanie’s story and he only hears the things that are not related and focuses on them. I am hearing a completely different thing and don’t get this way of thinking. Do we keep working at EMS Online hoping the group work will open his eyes and heart?
