Question:

EMS Online week 13 discusses the difference between faith and trust. It says, "We have to place our faith in something solid if we want to eliminate fear, and we do have to eliminate fear before trust is built. You may not be at a place where you feel you can trust your mate, but you might at least consider trusting your mate with God and trusting God with your mate. The beginnings of a new trust begin with faith. If you can trust a power greater than yourself, then you may be able to find a way to begin reengaging with your mate." I have all the faith in God and what God can do. I believe God can work in our spouses lives. What I don't trust is my spouses free will to choose not to listen to God or allow God to work in his life. I have watched that happen in our life. What are your suggestions for dealing with this?
