Question:

My husband and I are 3 months from D-Day. He had an emotional affair with his ex for about a year. I can’t seem to stop asking or talking about why he did it. He says he doesn’t want to be with her and never once thought he wanted to leave me. He also says he loves me and wants to work it out, but he doesn’t know why he did it or what he was getting from it. He tells me he truly regrets it and wishes he could go back and never have done it. But I struggle to get past what he has done and he is frustrated that I can’t stop talking about it and asking the same questions. I have anxiety and all the thoughts consume me all day. My husband is tired of answering same questions. How would you recommend I manage this?
