When we began our healing journey, when all the wounds were fresh and all bets were off, we had no clue how we would make it out of the deep pit of despair we found ourselves sinking into. But somehow, God used Christ, through community and counseling, to lift us up and out and make a way for healing, hope, and health. 1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV says: "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." God made a way out for us through His faithfulness, grace, and mercy. He orchestrated a miracle, allowing us to even endure this painful healing process, and come out on the other side, alive and whole again. He made a way out through our history and connection as a couple. He made a way out through Rodney's brokenness and rebuilding path to wholeness. And He made a way through Angela's willingness to forgive, heal, and choose to gradually become vulnerable again.
