I have a history of sexual abuse. My husband used porn for much of our marriage. I discovered it about 2 years ago, and all of my "normal" life felt like it was over. The truth is that I never completely dealt with my own pain/shame of abuse, and my world exploded. I found help for myself, my husband is doing his recovery work, both of us are in personal and occasional marriage counseling. The road has been so hard, but what we have as a result is a better marriage. How? The grace of God, good help (including AR), and two people trying to be sure we continually let God lead us through the change. And yes, EMDR helps me work through the emotional/logical brain issues of abuse. Thank you Samuel and Rick!
