Question:

Should I bring it up right away, a short time after or give some thought to it. Recently my spouse made a comment that really hurt my feelings. I said nothing in the moment. I even tried to laugh it off a little - initially thinking I was just being too sensitive. I know my spouse wasn't intending to hurt me with his comment. I fear that if I say something in the moment - I'll be accused of being too sensitive - "everything relates back to it" (the infidelity) He has said more than once. However; if I wait sometimes it will fester and then he'll be upset that I've been thinking about it for days. Seems like there is no right time really. Is there a best time to speak up?
