Q&A How Do I Answer the Question, 'Do You Promise You'll Never Do This to Me Again'?

I have been getting a question from my wife (betrayed). I am unsure how to answer but I know how I want to answer. The question is " Can you promise me you will never do this again?". I want to answer. I will never do this to you again. But how can I? Who knows what the future holds? So I answer. I have put things in motion so I can say I will never do this again. I have my small notebook with points of empathy and thought for my wife and family. I have a picture in my phone of my wife and youngest to look at and remind me of the pain and grief my actions have caused. We have completed week 7 in EMSO. What advice would you have to better answer this question?
