Question
I recently found out that my wife of 20 years had an affair 6 years ago with her sisters husband. She swears the affair is over and I believe her. She seems to be doing the hard work. She willingly told me about the affair when I asked, so I have agreed to commit to working on the relationship, despite being devastated. I am an extrovert by nature and have found it extremely difficult to interact with people and be out in public. I have a hard time being in stores or around crowds. Is this normal or is there a timeline for recovery? All I want to do is go home which is opposite of who I was.
