I have been with my husband for three years and married for one year. In the time of us being together, my husband has had two category four affairs and 4 category five affairs that he has told me about. In this there are more category four affairs he hasn’t told me about, and when I ask him about them he says that he “can’t remember them all, or when he started having these types of affairs”. Is it true that he really can’t remember? Is this a pattern of addiction to have so many emotional affairs? How can I help him to understand why I need to know about all of his affairs so that I know what it is I’m healing from? He can’t give me a time frame of when these affairs started in regards to when we started dating.
