Question:

In June of 2019 I disclosed to my husband that I had gotten us into $20,000 worth of debt by asking his parents for help. He had no idea of any of this and felt very betrayed by me. The money was for household goods and family necessities. He blames me for my financial problems leading to his affair. I feel guilty and shameful for my part of the money but will not take blame for his affair. How do we get past both betrayals?
