Question:

In Lesson 1 of Harboring Hope it was mentioned that in order to recover, the wayward spouse needs to disengage from the relationship, grieve the loss, and reengage with the spouse. My husband is doing 1st and 3rd ...but he seems is skipping 2nd part. He doesn’t want to think about the affair partner and what it was...my fear is that if he is not thinking about it now and understand what it was, it will come back to him later on and it will damage our relationship later... any thoughts about this?
