How do you reconcile the fact that when your spouse had complete freedom of choice, every decision they made was to go down the road of having an affair? Her last affair was ten years ago and she has been off of social media since then. She’s a stay-at-home mom and doesn’t have as many friends as before. I have access to her phone. She “checks in” with me and says she chooses me. I would've much preferred her to choose me, and to honor her marriage vows, when she had choices. How can I get past this feeling of never being her choice when she had freedom to choose but now that there are boundaries in place, she has "chosen" me?
