Question
My husband was previously married for 3 years to his high school sweetheart. She is said to have had many affairs, many with his coworkers in the air force dorms. She left, he wanted to work on the marriage. I was essentially his rebound. I was a virgin who waited for marriage and Catholic (he joked about not being able to divorce him). We had dated about 4 years and married 20 years. Year 18 was the year I found out about a 10 year affair. It's been a year 1/2 of trickle truth, but he has admitted to having an affair of one kind or another since the beginning, even in our own limerance. I realize his affairs are not about me, but I'm not sure he ever loved me. I wonder if, with me, he found a strategy to never be left and unlikely to be cheated on?
