Question:

I just had D-Day #5. My husband was texting the affair partner and arranging to talk to her by phone after I traveled away the next day and then in person when he takes a trip to his home state in two weeks. He swore he was not talking to her. He swore he did not want to talk to her because he was choosing us. He was choosing us and me. Now he says this planning is about getting closure from the affair so he can choose us. I don’t know what I believe. I feel numb. We both did EMSO and the individual courses. We are geographically separated due to a planned trip I am on. I feel emotionally separated as well. He is friendly if we talk but he does not want to discuss our a future. I have no idea where to go from here. The courses are done. I am numb. He is still seeking the affair partner for closure. It all feels never ending. What do we do when we have done all AR courses and are here? It feels like too much for me.
