Question:
My husband cheated on me with several women over the past six years of our marriage, mostly one night stands in context of sexual addiction. He currently works with two of the affair partners and has to talk to them on regular basis for work. He says there have been no inappropriate conversations in last several months. He suggested I call or text them and let them know that I know what happened in order to “bring it to the light” that they may deter them if temptation arises in the future. I have no reason to trust them so even if they tell me not to worry, that will provide no reassurance. We also discussed him quitting this job, but it would result in a significant pay decrease given his line off work. Do you have an opinion on if it is helpful for any reason to contact past affair partners?
