My husband and I are about 2 years out from D-Day with some trickling. We have been married 32 years. His infidelities include 10 years of pornography, an 8 year affair, handful of strip bars early in our marriage and now 2 new accidental discoveries on my part not previously divulged: ~100 sex tapes plus audio tapes. I also just learned that he has masturbated our entire dating and marriage years which I never even knew about. I am angry this wasn’t divulged in full disclosure! My question is regarding the masturbation. Does every man masturbate like this? Is it normal? I am so clueless with all of this and feel that our entire marriage has been one big fat lie: now with 32 years of marriage infidelities that I am trying to forgive! He says he has been free from all of the above the last 2 years but it is hard for me to feel safe now with this new info. We have completed EMS Online and are in Married for Life now. I have done Harboring Hope and we have both done counseling together with me doing much more individual counseling. Although I see him trying to restore my trust and work on the marriage, I see very little action for outside help. I know I shouldn’t control his healing and trust God to repair all of this but I am so clueless with the masturbation for so long. Is this a red flag that should be addressed? How should I move forward?
