My spouse has all of the symptoms of sexual addiction and has been with multiple women over the course of the last four years. However, two of the women he had long term relationships with (with other affair partners sprinkled within these two women as well) - the first one three years and the second one for a year. He expresses that he fall in love with just these two women and none of the others but had no intention of leaving our marriage because he loves me more. I struggle when he says that he is a sex addict because he sought all these relationships out, they weren't a whim. Is it even possible that this is a type 2, type 3, and a type 4 situation all mixed together or am I being fooled?
