Question

I am 6 months from D-day. My husband, of 30 years, had a 1 year affair and moved out 5 months ago. He ended the affair 2 months ago. We talk, see each other twice a week or so, and I'm trying to connect again. He is not willing to recommit to our marriage. Do I continue to do what I am doing or shall I back off and wait until he wants to recommit? We did begin weekly counseling to begin a conversation about our future to see what remains and take the path out of this "stuck" place. He says he loves me but seems reluctant to pursue me.

What type of affair was it?
