Question:

What can I do to help my parents understand the level in which I have been hurt? Hi. I am the betrayed and have had no support from my family through the last year of recovery. Being a betrayed man and not wanting to go into detail about the 5 year affair my wife had may be part of the reason that my family supports her and sees me as the problem. They think I'm playing the victim roll and have even suggested I'm bi polar. I just wish there was a short to the point book or something that would shed some light on my situation and how helpful it would be for me to have them supporting me through this tough journey. I know it is ultimately up to them and I am almost ready to accept the reality that they are not safe and grieve that as yet another loss and consequence. Thank you both for your help.
