Question:

We attended EMS Weekend July 2024. I had high hopes that AR would have helped our situation. However, when we returned home my husband told me he couldn't commit to the process of recovery. I filed for divorce, because I couldn't make him want to recover the marriage. After I filed we spent months going back and forth between trying to work it out and being done because he was continuing his affair with his affair partner. At any sign of rejection or if my emotions were too big he would withdraw from me and run back to her, reopening the wound. Our divorce was finalized February 2025 and he he is officially in relationship with his affair partner, but every couple months he is in tears "wanting his family back" and I am dragged back into the emotional rollercoaster. He now makes it out to be that I am the one unwilling to fight for our relationship now, even though we are divorced. Am I crazy to think this could ever work again or is this a narcissistic cycle and I should run?
