Question:

Dear Rick, My husband and I are 4 months out from dday. Things have been improving due to his willingness as the betrayer to work on himself and the relationship. He is still resistant to me looking at his phone, after his two year affair. I looked at his phone recently and saw that he had searched for nude pics of a celebrity female and when I asked him he became angry and turned the whole situation at me. I was in the wrong. The reality is my husband doesn't look at porn very often, only about 2 times a year. He sees nothing wrong with this and claims it has no connection at all to the affair. I have used the argument that it's about the fact that he decides when he wants to go outside the marriage to please himself- whether affair or a twice a year look at porn- he claims I'm overreacting and he is angry at me. Maybe they are isolated acts. Can you please offer me insight on how to understand his situation?
