Hi Rick, I'm interested in Harboring Hope, but would like to be put in a group with women whose husbands are sex addicts. Please don't tell me that the overall experience of being betrayed is the same, regardless of the type of betrayal. It isn't. My husband was habitually watching porn for almost 20 years. I would give ANYTHING if it had stopped there. He went to strip clubs and got lap dances throughout our 32 years of marriage. I would give ANYTHING if it stopped there. He had "chat sex" and webcam sex, Skype sex, video sex with HUNDREDS of woman. He also had sex with 45-50 prostitutes. There is no comparison between that and porn, strip clubs or an affair. I do not know how it feels to have a spouse who had an affair. Mine pursued the possibility, and was somewhat emotionally "involved" with a few women, which is incredibly painful, but does not compare to dealing with full blown affair/affairs. My point is that I desperately need to connect with women who have THIS experience... A husband who is a sex addict.
