My wife and I are 10 months out from D-day. She constantly wants to hear me say that I hate my affair partner. The truth is that I hate everything she did by participating in my emotional affair, but I don’t hate her. I don’t love her, I love my wife but I am not the kind of person that hates others, I do not believe God wants me to hate anyone. I worry that my lack of hate for her will drive a wedge between my wife and I. I have not had any contact with the AP and never want to see or hear from her. I don’t know what to do or say to convince my wife that I only love her.
