Question:

This is in continuation to my last question. It may appear as if I am asking the same question, as Rick also mentions that the betrayed spouses tend to ask same question over and over again. As you have suggested, I am open to forgiving my sister in due course of time, and she also had made an attempt to reconcile, but reconciliation seems impossible from my side. How could I pretend normal if I meet her face to face when even thinking about her triggers intrusive thoughts? After D-Day, I had to go for a family wedding, where she and her family was present. It was an extremely difficult situation for me. I kept hiding and pretending normal. Now again there is a family function and I am dying even at the thought of encountering same situation.
