Question:

My wife had a physical affair and we are now 18 months into reconciliation. I told my wife that I frequently suffer from separation anxiety but her response to that was just "Thats not healthy." While I agree that long term, it certainly is not healthy, I feel that it is probably normal under the circumstances. I have never been this way in our past. But now I feel myself being anxious and nervous when she is not around. That same anxiety goes away when we are together. Is it reasonable to want her to be empathetic to what I'm experiencing and expect her to do things to help me feel feel more secure while I am in this "needy" stage?
