In some of your information about Type 4 affairs it says that the straying partner can almost immediately end the affair once it is discovered and return to the marriage. This appears to be what my husband has done. I am struggling to understand how something that was so all-consuming to him for so long has been able to be walked away from, almost without a second glance. How does he not have deep residual feelings for the affair partner and how do I know that he is back in the marriage because he wants to be with me, and not just because he is just guilty and desperately trying to save his life and our family from imploding further? To provide a fuller picture my husband has been having individual counselling which has identified a very low self-worth and Core Shame as issues that he needs to address. Thank you - your information is just so valuable at such a desperate time.Sections: Rick's Q & A timeRick's QuestionsRL_Category: Breaking Off The AffairFor The Hurt SpouseQ&A Recovery LibraryTypes of AffairsRL_Media Type: Video
