Question:

We continue to work on our marriage after the affair and despite the desire for physical intimacy, there are times when something changes even during the actual intimate time. We have discussed that this is a very complicated time in our relationship and that we have to be open about discussing this type of issue together. I have expressed that it is not for lack of desire for her, but that there are psychological factors that are involved and I don’t want to cause her more emotional pain or confusion as we work through our recovery together and individually.
