Question:

My husband and I are almost 2 months out from our first D day and about a month from our EMS weekend. Lately my interest in sex has increased quite a bit from how it was in the last few years of our marriage. I think it is because he has stopped making passive aggressive comments to me and our intimacy is just getting a lot better so I feel more attracted to him. The question or problem I have is that the actual sex is very non intimate for me. I want it to be almost fast and furious to avoid intrusive thoughts. I do not feel like we are "making love" but really just having sex. Is this normal and will it get more intimate over time or should we be more focused on taking our time and making it more loving? I am terrified of that because of past experiences with intrusive thoughts ruining the experience for us. Thank you.
