Question:

For a sex addict, I have heard from many sources that it's important for them to be part of a 12 step recovery group. My husband has gone to Celebrate Recovery for 2 years faithfully. However, he's not working the steps. He got to step 4 and has stopped there and has been there for about 1.5 years. How important would you say it is to work each step to completion? I know that the steps are repeated as needed daily in life, but I am concerned about his lack of progress in the steps. Should I be concerned? Or is the step completion not important?
