Question:

We married middle age of life, my husband is 10 years older. After about 7 years my husband had no interest in sex and told me it wasn't important to him. I was depressed for several years, but marriage thru sickness and health. My sister suffered thru pancreatic cancer 2012 and died 2014, then my dad came down with lung cancer and died 2015. My husband was not really there for me thru those times and I have to say my attention was not with him. By this time it's been 18 years that we have not been intimate. He has a lot of interests that he actively pursued like motorcycles, the year my dad died he went to 3 bike rallies and a month long trip to Mexico and Guatemala. Airplanes, he is a pilot and did some crop dusting. Sprint Car racing, he was a driver so always had lots of female attention. I really didn't begrudge him his interest, we all only have one life to live. Then I found out summer of 2018 that he was in his 6th year of an affair, and that he has always lost interest sexually after being with a woman for awhile. He said he knew it was wrong not having sex with me but chose to not do anything to correct it. He said he knew it was wrong to have an affair but chose to go ahead and do it. He now has ED, his last natural sex act was with another woman. I am 65 years old, l now know I was truly alone thru the pain of my loved ones death, I lost for me prime sexual years. I am heartbroken. He wants to work on it now.
