Question:

I am 8 months out from D-Day and the journey has been really difficult. I am the betrayed and my husband had a three year emotional and physical affair. The AP harassed us for 5 months after discovery and was verbally threatening. I have experienced verbal, psychological, and physical abuse from my husband after D-Day. We are doing EMSO and although it is very informative, my husband continues to provide a lack of empathy at times. He writes and shares with others about how important I am to him but the way I am treated at times is the complete opposite. If I am crying or upset and ask for a hug this can be denied at times, he forgets what he says often when he is in a space like this, he eye rolls, swears, minimises and a lot more. I'm exhausted and am incredibly hurt by this treatment. Do you have any suggestions for me?
