Question:

I’m confused about the difference between constriction of emotions, which you say can come back years later if not properly grieved, versus controlling emotions through techniques given in the book. They both seem to be a way of avoiding the thoughts & feelings. How do you make sure you feel & grieve if the techniques are given to avoid these? Can you explain the difference?
