Question:

I have been working with a therapist who has decided to help me with some cognitive behavioral exercises. It has only been a couple of weeks but I have found that I am better able to check my negative thinking and challenge these thoughts. My wife has noticed a change in my reduction in defensive behavior and greater empathy. I am curious about your comments on this. For myself my therapist decided I needed to work on boundaries and that is where it started.
