Question: 

My unfaithful husband told me that his counselor said not to participate in 12 step programs or any other programs that you have suggested. His counselor says these programs will do more harm than good because of the people he will meet at them. I don’t understand what she means by this. Due to her advice my husband is choosing not to participate in these programs. What is your advice on this? Where can my husband find the right program?
