Question:

My husband of 16 years begged me to do EMS Online to try and help us recover after I had left him. We decided to give it one last shot. But in the year and a half since then he has been emotionally, mentally, and financially abusive to me. He tells me he doesn't know why he bothers trying to make this relationship work. He always tells me he won't have a problem finding a better, prettier, fitter, sexier and way more intelligent woman who can meet his needs, who will give him sex as often as he wants and just the way he wants it. He tells me constantly that I am a liability to our family and that he and the kids don't need me and they’ll be better off without me. He tells me he’s a real catch and a high-value man, and any woman will be lucky to have him. He makes me feel like he is doing me a favor by doing EMS Online, because he says I am the one with the problem. He doesn't do the group call exercises, he wings it every week at the last minute. I feel so emotionally unsafe, and when I try to express my feelings he says I'm always playing the victim, and he falls asleep while I’m talking. I feel so sad, and I cry almost every day. I’m so miserable. When do I throw in the towel?
