Question:

My husband had an emotional and physical affair. After D-Day, he explained that through the affair he realized he is polyamorous and would like for us to explore polyamory with his affair partner or with someone else eventually. I said no, that was a no-brainer for me. I am pretty open-minded, but I do not believe that polyamory is a good option for us, even after we are healed from this betrayal. I want to honor my husband and his interests, but I do not want to live a life that puts our marriage at risk. I have asked him if this is a deal-breaker - I don't want to live with a 2 ton anvil hanging over my head! He said it is an interest, but not paramount. Have you seen polyamorous couples come through the program? Do you have any wisdom to share?
