Question:

My husband’s affair has been going on for 2 years. We have been married for 30 years and always thought we had a truly great relationship. Through a series of tragic events, mid-life crisis, career issues, and him saving his AP from an abusive husband, this affair developed. Things became secretive and emotionally connected during her being “saved”. My husband says it was almost all texting and phone calls and was only sexual a handful of times. I have caught him contacting the AP multiple times. He says there will be no more contact only for me to catch him again. He says it’s different this time and we are getting ready to start EMS Online and we have done the Bootcamp. His has even reached out to Samuel a few times. I feel he is trying but he is still addicted to his AP. He can’t get over never talking with her again. How do you even get through to someone when they are still in this addiction? I know he is not in a rational state.
