Question:

My husband is a well-respected police officer in our area. He is a supervisor within his department as well as the SWAT team. His affair occurred with an employee. He does still work at the same department as changing is not an option. There are no lateral transfers and he has been there for 22 years and has 8 years until retirement. She also still works there. They no longer work together though. They we work opposite shifts. His work pays for his phone. There is evidence of cases stored on his phone at times and due to his career, me having access to his phone is not an option without him losing his job or me even go to jail. So how does one rebuild trust is this area? It is a real struggle for me. So much so that it's been almost 5 years since D Day.
