Question:

The way I see my marriage is that 13 years ago my husband shot or marriage with a gun, when he had a one night stand. Since then we had enough life (and good) to sustain us. 10 years ago, instead of nurturing our relationship he sabotaged it with another 1 night stand. Our marriage was already dying from the wound he gave us 3 years (1st 1 night stand). We are coming up an a year of the infidelities coming to my attention. My husband broke his leg 4 weeks ago. We have read His Needs Her Needs. Back in November, I was already very distraught about my needs not being met. Now nearly 2 months later and 4 weeks into his healing process of the broken Tibia and Fibula, my “love bucket” is bone dry, in fact there is a hole in my bucket. Maybe my husband is too selfish and self-absorbed to meet my needs, which are important. I deserve to be loved and cherished. Help! How do I know? By the way, we were registered for the EMS weekend and he broke his leg skiing 4 weeks before we were supposed to go.
