I have a question about forgiveness. My husband left me for his affair partner and never gave us the chance to try to reconcile. I realize how important forgiveness is to my own recovery, but is it important for me to actually tell him that I have forgiven him? I feel held back by the idea that if I let him know that I forgive him somehow that lets him win since he is happy in his new life with the affair partner and I am still alone.
