Question:

We are about 45 days out from disclosure. We are both in Harboring Hope and Hope for Healing. However my husband is saying he does not feel like he was emotionally ready to do this course. He’s in week two and already gained some profound insight. He says this mostly because the other participants are months or years out from their D-Day. I feel like we are guaranteed to divorce if we didn’t take immediate action. Is there such thing as it being too early to start to learn about ourselves, the recovery process, and grow? I know it’s way too soon to talk about reconciliation, but I think our years of resentments don’t need more time in the aftermath of this trauma to grow and expand.
