Question:

My husband has the behavior of a sex addict (had sex with prostitutes for most of our 16 years of marriage , just in the last year with more than 30, with some several times, plus visits to massages places). He said that after each encounter, he asked God for forgiveness and God always forgive him. After I discovered his double life, he said that God cured him for his addiction so he does not need therapy or any treatment. Also he said, that God removed his shame so he is happy because God cleaned all his sins. The fact that I am sad, angry and my questions make him remember his sin, so he said that I am acting as the Devil accusing him for his sins, and that I must forgive him and get over it because that is what Christ did for him. Is he right in his argument?
