Question:

D-Day was October, 2016 and my husband and I have been in recovery since mid-January, 2017. Since his affair partner is a co-worker I still feel the need to check up on him. I did catch him lying to me again about 4 weeks ago as he was continuing his friendship with her via email and phone calls in spite of promising to discontinue all contact with her. Checking up on him periodically is beginning to get old. Should I continue to do this at this point in our recovery? The problem is I don't really feel safe enough yet to totally commit to restoring our relationship because he continues to violate my trust.
