Question:

28 yr marriage, four months post discovery, emotional affair with “I love you's”. He asked for a divorce with the "love you just not in love w/you" discussion never revealing the affair. AP worked for us for nine years. He says affair 1.5 years with six months of I Love you's and "kissing." He says in his mind our marriage was over he didn't feel loved nor respected. After the trickling of facts and lies, I gave him the choice leave or end it. The AP no longer works for us. We have committed to giving recovery a chance. I'm doing HH he has the recovery library and has watched/read much of the information. He doesn't volunteer information about his recovery efforts; he does answers questions when I ask. What concerns should I have at this point in our recovery?
