Question:

I know my mother-in-law wants us to stay together but her comments have been so hurtful, even though I know she doesn’t do it intentionally. She just doesn’t know any better. For example, she asked me, “What do you think he wasn’t getting out of the marriage that contributed to him having an affair?” I feel like I need a resource to offer her or friends that know about our situation & don’t know what to say or do.
