Question:

How do I tell the difference between trying to control my husband's recovery and asking him to do things to help me feel safe? I had thought that after he came to me a year ago with the truth about his physical affair that I could trust that he wouldn't lie directly to me. But I recently found out he lied to me about his recent/current masturbation habit. Now I once again don't know how I can trust anything he says. He hasn't talked to his counselor or accountability partner about the recent lie and I want to ask him to. Is that reasonable?
