Question:
Can a couple really benefit from doing this work every week without the wayward spouse initiating and participating in disclosure attempts?
I need to heal with or without UH
My UH has finally agreed (it’s been 3 years) to do EMSO which starts in one week. He is picking fights, changing passwords, telling me not to overreact and, in my take, sabotaging us starting the group process. I can envision him telling me he’s not going to do it because we are fighting too much. Do I just lay low for a week, suck up my feelings and hope that I don’t give him any reason to back out? Has anyone had this happen before? In listening to this video, I don’t want to “ kill off a piece of my heart” just because he won’t take responsibility. Somehow, I NEED to heal.
