Question:

My wayward spouse told me on two different occasions that men always want to have sex with other women although they are married. He says that he lusts and feels like having sex with other women and that if a man says he doesn't want to have sex with other women outside of marriage, that he is a liar. I asked him who these women are and what is fueling all this lust. He has no answer. He keeps me very confused because when I ask him to be specific, then he says that he is talking in general. I told him that I don't believe that all men want to have sex with other women although they are married. And if he feels that way, I don't want to be married to someone who is always desiring other women. He tells me: "Then divorce me!" Am I being naive? This is troubling to me because I don't lust for other men and my wayward spouse has been the only man in my life. He had a sexual addiction affair with a family friend for 2 years or longer and would have kept going if he wouldn't have gotten caught. My husband has a history of being abused as a child and viewing porn at a young age. Supposedly this is the only time he commits adultery although he has for most of our married years been unfaithful (come to find out) by viewing porn, masturbating, obscene phone calling women, and double taking.
